Bought these rails to replace the ones on the back of my Mesa Boogie Powerhouse 1000 bass cab. The installed Mesa rails are a hollow plastic and one smack against a stage step the rail crushed. Swapped the upper rails to the bottom and a few months later, BAMMM !! Same thing happened. I didn't want to drop the money on new Mesa rails to only have it happen again so I went in search of some trusty skate rails. The red pops nicely and oddly enough they tend to come up in conversation at shows.UPDATE: I finally bought the 2nd pair of rails to replace the top ones, they don't receive the same amount of abuse as the lower, which have held up nicely, but they do help when sliding the cab in the tour van back side down when un/loading.
